Solus is an independent film collective and platform
for film-makers working in Super-8mm / 16mm and DV. It has the
dual aim of showing Irish short and avant-garde films abroad and
international short and avant-garde films in Ireland. We curate
programmes which screen with international partners and collaborators
on an ongoing basis.
This year Solus bring new screening programmes to North America, Russia and Ireland.
Third and final stop:
We are happy to announce that the third and final installment of this year's Solus tour - covering USA, Russia and Ireland - will be taking place in Filmbase in Dublin on Tuesday September 9th. We will be sharing this event with old friends and collaborators EFS, who also feature strongly in our Russian program from earlier this year.
